Hi readers!
In the hopes of brightening your Friday, I wanted to share a few Mini Snapshots that I’ve filmed over the past few weeks of glorious Virginia spring.
First up, a cherry blossom tree on a charming Richmond street:
I discovered what is apparently a weeping cherry blossom tree on one of my walks down Grace Street.
Of course once I saw one weeping cherry blossom, I started seeing them everywhere, and now I want one in my future yard.
Now that the cherry blossoms have passed on — RIP — we are treated to pink poufs:
Just a dogwood in front of one of my favorite houses along Chimborazo Park that happens to be for sale.
Sigh. The stuff of dreams.
I ❤️ 29th Street.
It’s part of the route from Chimborazo Park to Libby Hill Park — and it is so romantically Richmond.
Lots of happy birdsong in this one.
And just to give you a taste of the romance of Richmond’s back alleyways:
I’ll be filming a longer Snapshot featuring the Alleyways of Church Hill sometime this summer.
You’re gonna love it — they’re very Rear Window.
Keep an eye on your inbox tomorrow — I’ll be sending along the last of this spring’s Cherry Blossom Snapshots, where we’ll explore historic Franklin Street.
Until tomorrow, dear readers!
